Impactful design is informed by meaningful research.
We can provide practical, hands-on workshops for businesses and people who want to better connect with nature, live a more sustainable existence and learn about creating happier, healthier spaces through biophilic, regenerative design.
Within our Thought Leadership & Knowledge Development work, we undertake the task of crafting insightful white papers, topical design guides, and engaging insights that delve into the realm of Biophilic Design and its impact on human wellbeing within the built environment. Our primary focus has revolved around exploring the profound influence of nature connections in enhancing human wellness.
Across the years, this focus has undergone an evolution, broadening to encompass a myriad of sustainable human-centred design aspects. While biophilia remains the cornerstone of our ethos, our scope now extends to embracing themes such as fostering community through design, envisioning homes of the future, promoting sensory wellbeing through design, and championing regenerative practices.

Design, Speaking & Masterclass
Connecting people and nature is not just a vision; it is an imperative for our future. My work as a Designer, CEO, Content Creator, Speaker, and Consultant is dedicated to bridging the gap between humanity and the natural world. Central to this mission is the recognition that climate change and biodiversity loss pose significant challenges that require thoughtful and immediate action.
To achieve lasting impact, we must transition from a linear economy—a ‘take, make, waste’ system—to one that embraces regenerative principles. Regenerative Design transcends traditional sustainability by fostering processes that yield beneficial outcomes for both people and the environment. This approach is rooted in whole systems thinking, place-based design, and the commitment to adapt and evolve continually.
-
Biophilic Design Strategy + Frameworks
I guide project teams to develop Biophilic Design Frameworks that uncover innovative strategies and collaborative processes for implementation.
This process ensures that the connection to nature moves beyond superficial measures and is meaningfully integrated into the design concept.
-
Re-wilding + Regenerative Design
Evolving from frameworks implemented in large scale infrastructure and master planning projects, I guide visions and strategies to transform teams and uncover new potential for both ecologies and communities.
-
Individual, team or group workshops
I'll lead and facilitate your team through the process needed to shift the current approach to projects toward one that is based on whole systems thinking, creating new potential for positive outcomes.
My workshops focus on regenerative design, biophilic design, climate and water positive approaches as well as nature based solutions.
-
Keynote Speaking & Presentations
Inspirational talks on regenerative design, biophilic design or climate positive and net zero buildings and communities.
I prompt an audience to transform the way they think about what's possible at the built environment and city scale and why we are all critical to reversing global climate change and biodiversity loss.
-
Regenerative + Biophilic Design Masterclass
This 6-week master class is composed of in-depth sessions that explore regenerative and biophilic design principles, how to build strategies and goals on a project, and integrate them successfully.
If you have been looking for a class that can assist you with implementing transformational change on your built environment project, this class is for you.

Well Being Design Principles
THRVE Wellness interior design principles focus on enhancing the quality of life for occupants by integrating elements that support physical, emotional, and psychological health. We emphasize creating environments that foster connection, comfort, and satisfaction. Key considerations in wellness design include natural light, air quality, access to nature, and the use of sustainable materials.
By prioritizing the human experience, these principles encourage spaces that not only serve functional purposes but also contribute to a sense of belonging and well-being.
-
Air: We want to breathe clean air and eliminate indoor air pollution
-
Water: Clean, contaminate free water is a must when it comes to drinking and bathing water
-
Nourishment: encourage healthy eating habits and access to fresh fruits, vegetables, and healthy food choices.
-
Light: Let’s get more restful nights and more energized days by using light to keep our inner clocks ticking the right time
-
Movement: utilize building design technologies and knowledge-based strategies to encourage physical activity. This category puts fitness front and centre so there is no hiding from it
-
Comfort: Let’s minimize distraction and maximize comfort factors like air temperature and noise levels
-
Sound: The word “sound” itself is generally defined as the human response to mechanical vibrations through a medium, such as air. By this definition, human perception of sound is paramount in shaping a sonic environment.
-
Materials: Reduce human exposure, whether direct or through environmental contamination, to chemicals that may impact health during the construction, remodeling, furnishing and operation of buildings.
-
Mind: No more negativity, no more un-ordered chaos, no more clutter. Bring on the indoor plants, calm spaces, and positive values.
-
Community: support access to essential healthcare, build a culture of health that accommodates diverse population needs and establish an inclusive, engaged occupant community.
“Our masterclass focuses on implementing transformational change in your built environment.”

The Healthy Home Sanctuary Package considers all ten healthy home design elements:
Air, Water, Light, Comfort, Nourishment, Movement, Mind, Sound, Materials and Community.
A truly healthy home, one that optimizes your healthy lifestyle and allows you to thrive, needs to consider the eight elements. Its best to start the process early in the design phase of your new build or renovation, but if you're further along in the design phase, that's ok too!
We will work together to ensure your air, water and light quality are healthy, and continue on to discuss design strategies for creating a thermally and acoustically comfortable home.
We'll talk about strategies to create a wellness kitchen that encourages healthy eating habits. We'll look at your window design and make suggestions for creating well-lit spaces.
You'll receive custom strategies for creating a peaceful home that helps reduce stress.
During the design process, we also select healthy and sustainable materials and finishes.
This package is custom to you, your home design, your construction budget, and your lifestyle. You'll also have access to me during the construction or renovation of your home for any health and wellness related questions.

Wellness is the Future
-
What is the Wellness Trend?
The wellness trend brings the focus of interior design back to a simpler, more immediate intimate and people centric view with more focus on lifestyle.
As interior designers, we aim to design spaces and experiences that make our clients happy healthy and whole.
We are spearheading the mind shift from sustainable design to regenerative design, adopting the latest scientific findings and highlighting the importance of nature, so we can deliver meaningful, holistic experiences that enrich the well-being of our clients.
-
Socially conscious, harmonized interiors, that inspire Well-Being.
Designing for well-being is where the physical, psychological, social, and ecological aspects intertwine to create environments that focus on enhancing well-being, promoting happiness, and ensuring longevity in the various spaces and communities we inhabit, work, and engage in recreational activities. Biophilic design introduces an additional crucial element to our thinking about sustainability, as well as our understanding of human health and overall well-being, particularly within sustainable and regenerative spaces that foster a harmonious relationship between people and nature.
-
How do Interior Design & Well-Being relate to each other?
Interior design and well-being are deeply interconnected, as the spaces we inhabit have a profound impact on our physical health, mental clarity, and emotional balance. Thoughtful design choices can enhance mood, reduce stress, and improve overall wellness. Colours, textures, spatial flow, and materials influence how we feel and interact within a space, shaping our daily experiences. By prioritizing sustainable, nature-inspired, and human-centred design, interiors can become sanctuaries that support relaxation, creativity, and a holistic sense of well-being.
-
Spirituality & Design
Spiritual Interior Design is the philosophy of creating balanced spaces. Balancing and harmonizing beauty, design aesthetics, function, natural elements, spatial energy and sustainability. When done properly the balanced space emits a high vibration of peace and well-being.
Our holistic interior design approach to health and well-being addresses the needs of the human spirit, however, we also address diet, exercise, consciousness, emotional wellness, and life choices to protect the long-term well-being of our clients.
-
Incorporating Natural Elements to Support Well-Being.
Given how quickly an experience of nature can elicit a restorative response, and the fact that billions of dollars each year in lost productivity due to stress-related illnesses, design that reconnects us with nature – is essential for providing people opportunities to live and work in healthy places and spaces with less stress and greater overall health and well-being.
-
Interior Design as an Investment in your Wellness
We use a combination of practices such as biophilic design, sustainable design, feng shui, hygee and vatzu to create environments that are optimized for your overall wellbeing. Our primary aim at the end of the day is to design environments that inspire, nurture, and serve the human beings that occupy the space.
We view interior design as an investment into your wellness – just like buying organic produce or a gym membership.

― Frank Lloyd Wright

“I see myself as a storyteller. Clients hire me to write their biographies, but instead of words, I use architectural elements and materials inspired by nature, and of course personal items that reflect their personalities.”
